Last-day risk

Shipping on the last day isn’t late; you’re within the time you promised. But if most of your orders go out on the last day, one mishap (illness, a carrier backlog, a holiday) turns into a delay. Shipping a day earlier in busy periods lowers that risk.

Rules and sources

  • Counting starts the day after the order day. With the weekends box off, Saturday and Sunday are skipped.
  • Public holidays aren’t taken into account; if there is one, move your last day a day earlier yourself.

Frequently asked

Is the order day counted?

No. Counting starts the next day: an order that came in on Monday with 1 day of processing should ship on Tuesday.

Does it read my Etsy orders?

No, this tool works only with the date you enter. The Filizly app counts how many of your last 20 shipped orders went out on the last day.

What if I don’t ship on weekends?

Leave the box off; Saturday and Sunday aren’t counted and the last day moves to the next working day.
